Frequently asked questions.
Short, direct answers to what buyers and reviewers usually ask first.
What does Optimize Health Partners do?
We build clinical and financial analytics dashboards for health systems, commercial insurers, and state and federal payers, on a platform that includes our own EMR and billing system and built-in HEDIS and regulatory reporting. Our founder also leads healthcare and revenue cycle consulting.
Do you offer healthcare consulting?
Yes. Our founder leads consulting on revenue cycle, finance and forecasting, payer contracts, due diligence, and system conversions, drawing on more than fifteen years as a hospital and division CFO.
Do you offer revenue cycle consulting?
Yes. Revenue cycle work covers business-office performance, denials, accounts receivable, and cash collections, and it can be paired with dashboards that track the results.
Where are you located?
Hendersonville, Tennessee, in the Nashville area. We work with organizations anywhere in the United States, and the platform is cloud-based.
Do we need to install anything?
No. There is nothing for you to install. The platform is cloud-based, and our team works with yours to decide the best way to provide your data securely into our AWS-hosted environment, under the agreements described below.
What kinds of data can you load and analyze?
Financial data and clinical data, including claims, billing and payments data, plus clinical, pharmacy, and lab data where available. We confirm the specific files and formats with your team when we agree on how the data will be provided.
How fast can you load and analyze our data?
Depending on the data, we can load it and start producing reports within 30 days. The platform is already built and there is nothing for you to install. Exact timing depends on how soon the agreed data can be provided, and we will give you a specific plan after our first conversation.
Can you build custom dashboards?
Yes. Beyond our standard set of 24 analytics modules, we can create custom dashboards around your questions, and additional reports are available outside the dashboards.
What happens to our data?
Business associate and data use agreements come first, before any protected health information moves. We are HIPAA compliant. The environment where we load claims and clinical data runs on AWS using HIPAA-eligible services, and a business associate agreement with AWS is in place. Work can begin on de-identified or synthetic data.
Are you pursuing SOC 2 or HITRUST?
Yes. We are pursuing SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 27001 certification. We will tell you where each stands when you ask, and we will not request production patient data before the right safeguards are in place.
How do we get started?
Tell us the question you want answered and send us the data. We take your data and make it ready for you to use, with the right agreements in place first. Depending on the data, we can start producing reports within 30 days.
Will this replace our existing analytics or MMIS?
No. It is designed to sit alongside the systems you already run and add a clinically grounded view.
How is the platform priced?
Subscription pricing, scoped to your use case. Contact us for details.
How is OHP different from larger analytics vendors?
We are independent, with no health plan or hospital of our own. Our dashboards were designed by an operator, not only by data engineers. And because our analytics sit on our own working EMR and billing system, they can draw on clinical data directly rather than relying on claims alone. Many analytics products work from claims files only.
Can we run our clinic on the Omnipresent EMR?
Not yet. Omnipresent can be used today for analytics. It is not yet used to run a clinic, pending ONC certification, which we are targeting for 2027.
Does the AI make clinical decisions?
No. AI-assisted features, which run on AWS Bedrock in our AWS environment, help analysts normalize data, find patterns, and score risk. Much of the analytics logic is modeled and coded by our team from four decades of analyzing hospital data. Both support human judgment and are not used for clinical decision-making.
